A couple of the members of the Oracle crew went down to Roshester for the Revolt Skate Competition. We got to skate with the USD team, the Deshi team, and the SWS team. From one skate spot to another at least 300 skaters (not including spectators) tore downtown Rochester up. At the end of the whole street Competition every skater was invited to the local skatepark where we got to skate with famous skaters like Louie Zamora, Dustin Jones, Abdiel Colberg, Iain McCloud, and many others. The skatepark was amazing! From a skateshop to browse to couches to sit down on and listen to the live bands play and the skaters skate you were sure to walk around with a smile on your face. The Rochester aspect of skating is way differant than that of our hometown Erie, PA. In Erie you will find mostly all Razor skates with an occasional USD, but in Rochester every skater has a differant skate that jsut came out on the market with the latest line of clothes. Not even to mention the fact that our hotel was fabulous. How often can you walk around on a rainy night in Downtown Rochester and get bums asking you for money left and right and drunk girls at parties. Next year we hope to take the entire Oracle crew up to New York and have a full weekend doing some non-stop skating and non-stop partying. Until next year comes rolling around we will wait impatiently for just one fun weekend.
These are just a sample of what took place in Rochester when the camera was ready and a camera-man behind it. It's not that easy to capture a moment on camera when the camera-man is skating away destroying some ledge or gap.
